The App Does Not Launch

Uninstall the current installation. Try downloading the latest version again from the website. Contact support if the problem persists. Please mention the operating system and app version you are using, and any error messages you see.

Indexing Takes Longer Than Expected

Indexing is used to improve the search experience for you as a user, and for the AI agent searching your documents.

Large folders and complex PDFs can take time. Start with a smaller workspace first, then expand once you understand the indexing behavior on your machine.

If a document set is very large, split it into a focused test folder before indexing.

By default the indexing is done offline on your computer using a small AI model. No data will leave your computer. While it is a small model, large workspace and files can still take some time to process and make your computer temporarily slow and warm.

If you have a lot of documents, you can connect to an online AI provider in the settings to speed up the process. This will send your documents to the provider, so be sure to check the privacy policy and test with non-sensitive documents first. Alternatively you can contact us to run the indexing AI model on your own company servers to offload the processing from your machine while keeping the data in-house.

Answers Do Not Mention The Source I Expected

Search and retrieval are discovery tools, not a substitute for review. Try a narrower query with exact phrases from the document, then inspect the original files.

Good prompts include:

Search for the exact phrase "continued airworthiness" and show every matching source.

Find documents that mention this requirement ID and group the results by file.

Sensitive Files

Before using sensitive documents, check which AI provider is connected and whether content may be sent outside your machine. When in doubt, test with a sample workspace first. You can use a EURouter account for online AI models hosted in the EU. This can help with internal company data policies and GDPR-sensitive workflows when personal data is involved. EURouter has optional Zero Data Retention mode, and the option to only use AI models from companies headquartered in the EU.
