About Us

Built for the people behind aviation decisions

Aviation.Bot brings aviation experience, software development and artificial intelligence together to help professionals find the right information and make better-informed decisions.

Born in Europe. Shaped by aviation around the world.

Our team's experience includes work at the Netherlands Aerospace Centre, serving as a Technical Inspector on behalf of EASA for international missions, and regulatory compliance with aviation authorities worldwide at Lockheed Martin โ€“ Commercial Flight Training, and collaboration with airlines across Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas.

Across these roles, we saw the same challenge: finding and understanding the regulations that matter takes time. Requirements span documents, revisions and authorities, while each organisation has its own procedures, responsibilities and operating context.

Aviation.Bot grew from that experience and our shared passion for aviation, software and AI.

Find the information. Keep the judgement human.

Our purpose is to reduce the time spent navigating complex regulations, make their meaning easier to understand and help people move their work forward. Aviation.Bot supports research and review; responsibility for regulatory interpretation, compliance and operational decisions remains with people.

Today, Aviation.Bot helps users explore EASA material through regulatory lookup and chat. Our upcoming regulatory library and desktop/web features extend that approach to multiple authorities and an organisation's own documents. The aim is to help professionals compare sources, cross-reference requirements and review information in the context of their organisation and job role.

We also want to bring people across the industry together to share experience and improve how regulatory work gets done.

Information you can trace and review

A useful answer should lead back to its evidence. We focus on traceability to the source document, relevant section and, where available, its version or amendment. As organisation-document support develops, the same principle applies to internal manuals, procedures and records.

Aviation documents contain more than prose. Complex tables, forms, footnotes and cross-references can lose meaning when their structure is flattened during processing. Our document-processing work focuses on preserving that context and making the original source available for review.

Compared with a general-purpose AI workflow, our focus is an aviation-specific source collection and document preparation suited to regulatory research. The goal is to spend less time searching through documents and more time evaluating the information that matters.

Built to support aviation consultants

Aviation consultants bring experience, professional judgement and an understanding of their clients that a search result or AI answer cannot provide. Aviation.Bot is being built to support that expertise: helping consultants find relevant regulations faster, cross-reference sources and identify information that deserves closer review.

The aim is to reduce repetitive research and make potential gaps easier to spot, giving consultants more time for interpretation, advice and work with their clients. Consultants remain responsible for checking applicability, reviewing the evidence and forming their recommendations.

We are also working towards bringing aviation consultants and commercial aviation organisations together, helping organisations connect with the expertise they need and consultants share the value of their experience.

AI support that fits your data requirements

Organisations have different rules for handling confidential information. Our upcoming desktop/web offering is being developed to support a choice of AI deployments, including European-hosted providers and models running on a personal computer or an organisation's own hardware.

For European-hosted options, we aim to offer providers with contractual data-protection safeguards and zero-retention terms where available. Hosting location alone does not determine GDPR compliance: the provider, contract, configuration and data flows all matter.

For organisations that require tighter control, local and in-house AI options are intended to keep selected document analysis within their own environment. The available features and data flows will be documented for each deployment so teams can choose an arrangement that meets their requirements.
