TERMINOLOGY USED REGARDING SAILPLANES, POWERED SAILPLANES AND TMGs
(a)Â Â Â Â When requirements of Part-SFCL refer to âsailplanesâ, this includes
powered sailplanes as well as touring motor gliders (TMGs), unless otherwise
specified.
(b)Â Â Â Â In the context of sailplanes excluding TMGs, the term âlaunchâ is used,
while in the context of TMGs, the term âtake-offâ is used.
