GM1 SFCL.001 Scope ED Decision 2020/004/R TERMINOLOGY USED REGARDING SAILPLANES, POWERED SAILPLANES AND TMGs (a) When requirements of Part-SFCL refer to ‘sailplanes’, this includes powered sailplanes as well as touring motor gliders (TMGs), unless otherwise specified. (b) In the context of sailplanes excluding TMGs, the term ‘launch’ is used, while in the context of TMGs, the term ‘take-off’ is used.
