MANAGEMENT SYSTEM MATURITY LEVELS
Regarding the evaluation of the maturity of the management systems, the following definitions apply:
- āpresentā: there is evidence that the process/feature is documented in the organisationās management system/safety management system (SMS) documentation;
- āsuitableā: the process/feature is suitable based on the size, nature, and complexity of the organisation, and the inherent risk in the activity;
- āoperatingā: there is evidence that the process/feature is in use and an output is being produced;
- āeffectiveā: there is evidence that the process/feature is achieving the desired outcome and has a positive safety impact.
