AMC 25.981(b)(2) Fuel tank flammability definitions ED Decision 2009/010/R Equivalent Conventional Unheated Aluminium Wing is an integral tank in an unheated semi-monocoque aluminium wing of a subsonic aeroplane that is equivalent in aerodynamic performance, structural capability, fuel tank capacity and tank configuration to the designed wing. Fleet Average Flammability Exposure is defined in Appendix N and means the percentage of time the fuel tank ullage is flammable for a fleet of an aeroplane type operating over the range of flight lengths.
