AMC 25.679(a)(2) Control system gust locks ED Decision 2003/2/RM If the device required by [CS 25.679(a)](#_DxCrossRefBm1709821120) limits the operation of the aeroplane by restricting the movement of a control that must be set before take-off (e.g. throttle control levers), this device should be such that it will perform the function for which it is designed even when subject to likely maladjustment or wear, so that – a. The movement of that control is restricted as long as the device is engaged; and b. The movement of that control is unrestricted when the device is disengaged.
