CS-VLA 449 Additional loads applicable to V-tails ED Decision 2003/18/RM An aeroplane with V-tail, must be designed for a gust acting perpendicularly with respect to one of the tail surfaces at speed VE. This case is supplemental to the equivalent horizontal and vertical tail cases specified. Mutual interference between the V-tail surfaces must be adequately accounted for.
