A1 General ED Decision 2003/18/RM (a) The design load criteria in this Appendix are an approved equivalent of those in [CS-VLA 321](#_DxCrossRefBm584936665) to [459](#_DxCrossRefBm584936664) of this document for the certification of conventional very light aeroplanes as defined in [CS-VLA 1](#_DxCrossRefBm584936605) and [301(d)](#_DxCrossRefBm584936663) and [AMC 301(d)](#_DxCrossRefBm584936666). (b) Unless otherwise stated, the nomenclature and symbols in this Appendix are the same as the corresponding nomenclature and symbols in CS-VLA.
