CS-VLA 623 Bearing factors ED Decision 2003/18/RM (a) Each part that has clearance (free fit), and that is subject to pounding or vibration, must have a bearing factor large enough to provide for the effects of normal relative motion. (b) For control surface hinges and control system joints, compliance with the factors prescribed in [CS-VLA 657](#_DxCrossRefBm584936764) and [693](#_DxCrossRefBm584936763), respectively, meets sub-paragraph (a) of this paragraph.
