CS23.2500 General requirements on systems and equipment function ED Decision 2017/013/R (a) Requirements CS23.2500, CS23.2505 and CS23.2510 are general requirements applicable to systems and equipment installed in the aeroplane, and should not be used to supersede any other specific CS-23 requirement. (b) Equipment and systems required to comply with type certification requirements, airspace requirements or operating rules, or whos e improper functioning would lead to a hazard, must be designed and installed so that they perform their intended function throughout the operating and environmental limits for which the aeroplane is certified.
