BOP.BAS.350 Miscellaneous equipment Regulation (EU) 2018/395 (a)     Balloons shall be equipped with protective gloves for each crew member. (b)     Mixed balloons, hot-air balloons and hot-air airships shall be equipped with all of the following: (1)     an alternative and independent source of ignition; (2)     a means of measuring and indicating fuel quantity; (3)     a fire blanket or fire-resistant cover; (4)     a drop line of at least 25 m in length. (c)      Gas balloons shall be equipped with both of the following: (1)     a knife; (2)     a trail rope of at least 20 m in length made of natural fibre or electrostatic, conductive material.
