CS 22.607 Locking of connections ED Decision 2003/13/RM An approved means of locking must be provided on all connecting elements in the primary structure and in control and other mechanical systems which are essential to safe operation of the sailplane. In particular selflocking nuts may not be used in any bolt subject to rotation in operation, unless a non-friction locking device is used in addition to the selflocking device.
