AMC 22.777(d) Cockpit controls ED Decision 2003/13/RM Throttle control systems which have been demonstrated to have inherently constant friction levels throughout their life such as Bowden type push/pull cables, are accepted as providing an equivalent level of safety to that of a `means of adjusting the freedom of operation of the throttle control in flight’.
