AMC 22.375(a) Winglets ED Decision 2003/13/RM For the wing the interactive effects between the winglets and the wing should be taken into account, as there are: (1) Changes in wing lift distribution: (2) Additional bending and torsion moments at the attachment point of the winglet due to aerodynamic and mass loads on the winglet; (3) Effects of inertia; and (4) Effects of drag on wing torsion.
