CS 22.1549 Power-plant instruments ED Decision 2003/13/RM For each required power-plant instrument, as appropriate to the type of instruments: (a) each maximum and, if applicable, minimum safe operating limit must be marked with a red radial line; (b) each normal operating range must be marked with a green arc, not extending beyond the maximum and minimum safe limits; (c) each take-off and precautionary range must be marked with a yellow arc. (d) in the case of digital solid state displays, limitations, precautionary and operating ranges required by sub-paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) of this paragraph must be clearly indicated. The display must be readable under all lighting conditions likely to be met in service.
