CS 22.1541 General ED Decision 2003/13/RM (a) The sailplane must contain – (1) the markings and placards specified in [CS 22.1545](#_DxCrossRefBm2056272355) through CS 22.1567; and (2) any additional information, instrument markings, and placards required for the safe operation if it has unusual design, operating, or handling characteristics. (b) Each marking and placard prescribed in sub-paragraph (a) of this paragraph – (1) must be displayed in a conspicuous place; and (2) may not be easily erased, disfigured, or obscured. (c) The units of measurement used to indicate air speed on placards must be the same as those used on the indicator.
