AMC 31HB.39 Protection of parts ED Decision 2009/005/R Suspension system cables and components manufactured from stainless steels (corrosion resistant steels) are considered compliant with this requirement. To ensure the suitable protection of parts against deterioration or loss of strength, it is permissible to rely on instructions for continued airworthiness (e.g. recommended inspections or mandatory replacement of parts) (See also [CS 31HB.82](#_DxCrossRefBm388745819)).
