CS 31HB.37 Fasteners ED Decision 2009/005/R (a) Fasteners (e.g. bolts, pins, screws, karabiners, fuel cell straps) used in the structure must conform to approved specifications. (See [AMC 31HB.37](#_DxCrossRefBm388745772)) (b) Locking methods must be established and documented. (c) Unless a joint is free from relative movement, secondary locking means must be used. (d) Self-locking nuts may not be used on bolts that are subject to rotation in service.
