21.A.163 Privileges

21.A.163 Privileges Regulation (EU) 2022/1358 Pursuant to the terms of approval issued under point [21.A.135](#_DxCrossRefBm1649097197), the holder of a production organisation approval may: (a)     perform production activities under this [Annex](#_DxCrossRefBm1649096844) or [Annex Ib](#_DxCrossRefBm1649096843) (Part 21 Light); (b)     in the case of complete type-certified aircraft and upon presentation of a statement of conformity ([EASA Form 52](#_DxCrossRefBm1649096923)) issued under points [21.A.174](#_DxCrossRefBm1649097275) and [21.A.204](#_DxCrossRefBm1649097274) of this Annex or under points [21L.A.143](#_DxCrossRefBm1649097272)(c) and [21L.A.163](#_DxCrossRefBm1649097271) of Annex Ib (Part 21 Light), obtain an aircraft certificate of airworthiness and a noise certificate without further showing; (c)      in the case of other products, parts or appliances, issue authorised release certificates ([EASA Form 1](#_DxCrossRefBm1649096870)) under this Annex (Part 21) or under Annex Ib (Part 21 Light) without further showing; (d)     in the case of an aircraft that is subject to a declaration of design compliance under point [21L.A.43](#_DxCrossRefBm1649097270) of Annex Ib (Part 21 Light) and upon presentation of a statement of conformity ([EASA Form 52B](#_DxCrossRefBm1649097273)) issued under points [21L.A.143](#_DxCrossRefBm1649097272)(d) and [21L.A.163](#_DxCrossRefBm1649097271) of Annex Ib (Part 21 Light), obtain an aircraft restricted certificate of airworthiness and a restricted noise certificate without further showing; (e)     in the case of products or parts to be installed on an aircraft that is subject to a declaration of design compliance under point [21L.A.43](#_DxCrossRefBm1649097270) of Annex Ib (Part 21 Light), issue authorised release certificates ([EASA Form 1](#_DxCrossRefBm1649096870)) under Annex Ib (Part 21 Light) without further showing; (f)      maintain a new aircraft that it has produced and issue a certificate of release to service ([EASA Form 53](#_DxCrossRefBm1649097269)) in respect of that maintenance; (g)     under procedures agreed with its competent authority for production, for an aircraft it has produced and when the production organisation itself is controlling under its Production Organisation Approval the configuration of the aircraft and is attesting conformity with the design conditions approved for the flight, to issue a permit to fly in accordance with point [21.A.711](#_DxCrossRefBm1649097268)(c) including approval of the flight conditions in accordance with point [21.A.710](#_DxCrossRefBm1649097267)(b).
