AMC1 ATS.OR.205(b)(4) Safety assessment and assurance of changes to the functional system ED Decision 2017/001/R RISK EVALUATION The air traffic services provider should ensure that the risk evaluation includes: (a) an assessment of the identified hazards for a notified change, including possible mitigation means, in terms of risk or in terms of proxies or a combination of them; (b) a comparison of the risk analysis results against the safety criteria taking the uncertainty of the risk assessment into account; and (c) the identification of the need for risk mitigation or reduction in uncertainty or both.
