GM1 ADR-DSN.D.280 Transverse slopes on taxiways ED Decision 2014/013/R The slopes on a taxiway are intended to prevent the accumulation of water (or possible fluid contaminant) on the surface and to facilitate rapid drainage of surface water (or possible fluid contaminant). Slopes should be so designed as to minimise impact on aircraft and so not to hamper the operation of aircraft.
