GM1 ADR-DSN.B.060 Longitudinal slopes on runways ED Decision 2017/021/R Slopes should be so designed as to minimise impact on aircraft and so not to hamper the operation of aircraft. For precision approach runways, slopes in a specified area from the runway end, and including the touchdown area, should be designed so that they should correspond to the characteristics needed for such type of approach.
