UAM.IDE.MVCA.145 Height-determination equipment Regulation (EU) 2024/1111 (a) The VCA shall, for flights over water, be equipped with a means to determine the height of the aircraft in relation to the water surface, capable of emitting an audio warning below a preset value and a visual warning at a height selectable by the pilot, when operating: (1) at a distance from land corresponding to more than 3 minutes flying time at normal cruising speed; (2) reserved; (3) reserved; (4) out of sight of the land. *[applicable from 1 May 2025 — Regulation (EU) 2024/1111]*
