CS ADR-DSN.L.610 Information marking ED Decision 2022/006/R (a) Applicability: Where an information sign in accordance with [CS ADR-DSN.N.785](#_DxCrossRefBm1800047548) is not installed, an information marking should be displayed on the surface of the pavement. (b) Characteristics: (1) An information marking should consist of: (i) an inscription in yellow upon a black background when it replaces or supplements a location sign; and (ii) an inscription in black upon a yellow background when it replaces or supplements a direction or destination sign. (2) Where there is insufficient contrast between the marking background and the pavement surface, the marking should include: (i) a black border where the inscriptions are in black; and (ii) a yellow border where the inscriptions are in yellow. (3) The character height, spacing, and the form and proportions of the inscriptionshould be as for mandatory instruction markings.  Figure L-10A.
