UAM.IDE.VCA.105 Minimum equipment required for a flight Regulation (EU) 2024/1111 A flight shall not commence when any of the aircraft instruments, items of equipment or functions required for the intended flight are inoperative or missing, unless: (a) the aircraft is operated in accordance with the operator’s minimum equipment list (MEL); or (b) the operator is approved by the competent authority to operate the aircraft within the constraints of the master minimum equipment list (MMEL) in accordance with point [ORO.MLR.105(j)](#_DxCrossRefBm927677458) of Annex III. *[applicable from 1 May 2025 — Regulation (EU) 2024/1111]*
