VTOL.2135 Controllability n/a (a) The aircraft must be controllable and manoeuvrable, without requiring exceptional piloting skills, alertness, or strength, within the operational flight envelope and must be controllable and manoeuvrable within the limit flight envelope: (1) at all loading conditions for which certification is requested; (2) during all phases of ground or flight operations; (3) reserved; (4) during configuration changes; (5) in all degraded flight control system operating modes; and (6) the applicant must demonstrate controllability in wind from zero to a wind limit appropriate for the aircraft type. (b) Reserved. (c) Reserved. (d) It must be possible to make a smooth transition from one flight condition to another without danger of exceeding the limit flight envelope.
