VTOL.2425 Lift/thrust system operational characteristics n/a (a) The installed lift/thrust system must operate without any hazardous characteristics during normal and emergency operation within the range of operation limitations for the aircraft and lift/thrust system installation. (b) If the safety benefits outweighs the hazard, the design must allow the shutdown and restart of a lift/thrust unit in flight within an established envelope.
