VTOL.2330 Fire Protection in designated fire zones n/a (a) Flight critical systems, lift/thrust unit mounting, and other structures within or adjacent to designated fire zones must be capable of withstanding the effects of a fire. (b) A fire or other release of stored energy in a designated fire zone must not preclude continued safe flight and landing for Category Enhanced, or a controlled emergency landing for Category Basic. (c) Terminals, equipment, and electrical cables used during emergency procedures must be fire-resistant.
