GM2 21L.B.12 Exchange of information ED Decision 2023/013/R COORDINATION The exchange of information should be performed in accordance with Article 72 of [Regulation (EU) 2018/1139](https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX:32018R1139) in particular when: (a) the competent authority of a Member State immediately reacts to a safety problem; (b) the competent authority of a Member State grants exemptions in accordance with Article 71(1) of [Regulation (EU) 2018/1139](https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX:32018R1139) (for a period of more than 8 months or when the exemptions become repetitive, and their total duration exceeds 8 months).
