GM1 21L.A.208 Requirements for the approval of a major repair design ED Decision 2023/013/R **REPAIR DESIGN APPROVAL BY EASA** EASA’s approval is required in cases of major repair designs proposed by design organisation approval (DOA) holders that do not hold the necessary privilege as per point 21.A.263(c)(5) of Annex I (Part 21) to Regulation (EU) No 748/2012 to approve certain major repair designs, as well as in cases of minor repair designs proposed by persons or organisations that have submitted a declaration of design capability (declared design organisation) in accordance with Subpart J of Annex Ib (Part 21 Light) to Regulation (EU) No 748/2012.
