CS ADR-DSN.D.280 Transverse slopes on taxiways ED Decision 2014/013/R (a) The safety objective of taxiway transverse slopes is to promote the most rapid drainage of water from the taxiway. (b) The transverse slopes of a taxiway should be sufficient to prevent the accumulation of water on the surface of the taxiway but should not exceed: (1) 1.5 % where the code letter is C, D, E, or F; and (2) 2 % where the code letter is A or B.
