CS ADR-DSN.B.130 Slopes on runway shoulders ED Decision 2014/013/R (a) The safety objective of runway shoulder transverse slopes is to promote the most rapid drainage of water from the runway and runway shoulder. (b) The surface of the paved shoulder that abuts the runway should be flush with the surface of the runway and its transverse slope should not exceed 2.5 %.
