21L.A.203 Classification of repair designs to a type-certified product Regulation (EU) 2022/1358 (a)     Repair designs to a type-certified product shall be classified as minor or major. (b)     A ‘minor repair’ is a repair design that has no appreciable effect on the mass, balance, structural strength, reliability, certified noise or emissions level, operational characteristics, or other characteristics affecting the airworthiness or the environmental compatibility of the product. (c)      All other repair designs are ‘major repairs’. (d)     The requirements for the approval of minor repair designs are those established in point [21L.A.207](#_DxCrossRefBm1649098088).
