AMC6 SPA.LVO.120(b) Flight crew competence ED Decision 2022/012/R RECURRENT CHECKING FOR EFVS OPERATIONS (a) The operator should ensure that the pilots’ competence to perform EFVS operations is checked at each required demonstration of competence or operator proficiency check by performing at least two approaches of which one should be flown without natural vision, to the height below which an approach should not be continued if natural visual reference is not acquired. (b) If a flight crew member is authorised to operate as pilot flying and pilot monitoring during EFVS operations, then the flight crew member should complete the required number of approaches in each operating capacity.
