GM1 Article 15(2) Operational conditions for UAS geographical zones ED Decision 2022/002/R EXEMPTION(S) FROM ONE OR MORE OF THE REQUIREMENTS FOR UAS OPERATIONS IN THE āOPENā CATEGORY Member States may designate UAS geographical zones in which UAS operations are exempted from one or more of the requirements for the āopenā category. UAS operators, when complying with the remaining requirements for the āopenā category, may operate without the need to apply for an operational authorisation.
