GM1 CAT.POL.A.245(a) Approval of steep approach operations ED Decision 2021/005/R SCREEN HEIGHT For the purpose of steep approach operations, the screen height is the reference height above the runway surface, typically above the runway threshold, from which the landing distance is measured. The screen height is set at 50 ft for normal operations and at another value between 60 ft and 35 ft for steep approach operations.
