GM1 ADR.OPS.D.025 Aircraft stand allocation ED Decision 2020/021/R RESPONSIBILITY FOR AIRCRAFT STAND ALLOCATION The overall responsibility for aircraft stand allocation normally lies with the aerodrome operator. The aerodrome operator may also decide to delegate the aircraft stand allocation to an air operator or to an organisation responsible for the provision of groundhandling services if they have a dedicated terminal or an apron area. However, the aerodrome operator remains ultimately responsible for ensuring that safety is maintained.
