They may originate from any technical documentation issued by the original manufacturer of the aircraft, aeronautical products, parts or appliances (e.g. aircraft flight manual (AFM), aircraft operating manual (AOM), aircraft maintenance manual (AMM), component maintenance manual (CMM), design documentation). TYPE-SPECIFIC DATA Type-specific data required by this Appendix contain detailed technical information useful for cabin crew to obtain general knowledge on the type of aircraft they are to be qualified on.
