ATS.OR.500 Meteorological information – General Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/469 (a) An air traffic services provider shall ensure that up-to-date information on existing and forecast meteorological conditions is made available to the relevant air traffic services units as necessary for the performance of their respective functions. (b) An air traffic services provider shall ensure that available detailed information on the location, vertical extent, direction and rate of movement of meteorological phenomena in the vicinity of the aerodrome, and particularly in the climb-out and approach areas, which could be hazardous to aircraft operations, is supplied to the relevant air traffic services units. (c) The information in points (a) and (b) shall be supplied in such a form as to require a minimum of interpretation on the part of air traffic services personnel and with a frequency which satisfies the requirements of the air traffic services units concerned.
