GM1 ATS.TR.115(b)(9);(10) Identification of air traffic services units ED Decision 2020/008/R NAMING OF FLIGHT INFORMATION CENTRE AND AFIS UNIT Particular attention should be paid when naming flight information centres and AFIS units providing services in contiguous portions of airspace, in order to avoid duplications which could lead to misunderstandings. In this case, the names attached to the respective suffixes of the two units should be different. In this way, compliance with point (a) of ATS.TR.115 concerning unambiguous identification of air traffic services units is ensured.
