SFCL.320 FI(S) certificate – Prerequisites and requirements Regulation (EU) 2020/358 Applicants for an FI(S) certificate shall: (a) be at least 18 years of age; (b) comply with the requirements of point (a)(1)(i) and paragraph (2) of point [SFCL.300](#_DxCrossRefBm2056271976); (c) have completed 100 hours of flight time and 200 launches as PIC on sailplanes; (d) have completed an instructor training course in accordance with point [SFCL.330](#_DxCrossRefBm2056271981) at an ATO or a DTO; and (e) have passed an assessment of competence in accordance with point [SFCL.345](#_DxCrossRefBm2056271980).
