Recommended implementation and transition steps *ED Decision 2019/004/R* It is likely that multiple mode of operation will be implemented as part of an extension to an already existing single mode of operation implementation. This would facilitate the transition from a one‑to‑one operating method to a one-to-many operating method by first gaining operational experience of remote aerodrome ATS in a single mode of operation set-up. Therefore, such an approach is recommended. However, depending on the local safety assessment, this may not be a prerequisite for implementation.
