Attention should be closely paid to line select keys, touch screens or cursor controlled trackballs as these can be susceptible to unintended mode selection resulting from their location in the flight deck. Note: Systems not utilising Gillham interfaces may or may not provide a means to inhibit the transmission of pressure altitude.
