GM1 Article 19 Safety information ED Decision 2019/021/R EXCHANGE OF SAFETY INFORMATION Cooperation between competent authorities should be organised pursuant to Article 61 of Regulation (EU) 2018/1139. Cooperation between market surveillance authorities and the exchange of safety‑related and non-compliance information should be organised pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 765/2008[[90]](#_ftn91). Article 19 of the UAS Regulation is intended to help organise the information flow and cooperation between the competent authorities on the one hand, and between the market surveillance authorities on the other. Cooperation should be organised primarily at the Member State level. All the competent authorities concerned should make the best use of the information systems defined in Articles 22 ‘Exchange of information — Community Rapid Information System’ and 23 ‘General information support system’ of Regulation (EC) No 765/2008, as well as of the occurrence-reporting system of Regulation (EU) No 376/2014. --- [[90]](#_ftnref91) Regulation (EC) No 765/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 July 2008 setting out the requirements for accreditation and market surveillance relating to the marketing of products and repealing Regulation (EEC) No 339/93 (OJ L 218, 13.8.2008, p. 30).
