21.B.453 Issuance of a repair design approval Regulation (EU) 2022/201 (a)     The Agency shall issue an approval of a major repair design, provided that: 1.       the applicant has demonstrated its capability in accordance with point [21.A.432B](#_DxCrossRefBm1649096965); 2.       the applicant has complied with point [21.A.433](#_DxCrossRefBm1649096849); 3.       the Agency, through its verification of the demonstration of compliance in accordance with the level of involvement established pursuant to point [21.B.100](#_DxCrossRefBm1649096973)(a), has not found any non-compliance with the type-certification basis and environmental protection requirements; and 4.       no feature or characteristic has been identified that may make the product unsafe for the uses for which certification is requested. (b)     The Agency shall issue an approval of a minor repair design, provided that the applicant has complied with points (2) and (4) of point (a) and provided that the Agency, through its verifications of the demonstration of compliance in accordance with the level of involvement pursuant to point [21.B.100](#_DxCrossRefBm1649096973)(b), has not found any non-compliance with the type-certification basis and environmental protection requirements. #### 21.B.453 Issuance of a repair design approval *Regulation (EU) 2025/1065* (a) The Agency shall issue an approval of a major repair design, provided that: 1. the applicant has demonstrated its capability in accordance with point [21.A.432B](#_DxCrossRefBm485230456); 2. the applicant has complied with point [21.A.433](#_DxCrossRefBm485230339); 3. the Agency, through its verification of the demonstration of compliance in accordance with the level of involvement established pursuant to point [21.B.100](#_DxCrossRefBm485230464)(a), has not found any non‑compliance with the type-certification basis and the applicable environmental protection requirements; and 4. no feature or characteristic has been identified that may make the product, the UAS or the CMU unsafe for the use for which certification is requested. (b) The Agency shall issue an approval of a minor repair design, provided that the applicant has complied with points 2 and 4 of point (a) and provided that the Agency, through its verification of the demonstration of compliance in accordance with the level of involvement pursuant to point [21.B.100](#_DxCrossRefBm485230464)(b), has not found any non‑compliance with the type‑certification basis and the applicable environmental protection requirements.
