##### Article 14 – Individual aircraft Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 1. Individual aircraft shall be subject to certification and shall be issued with a certificate of airworthiness and, where the delegated acts referred to [Article 19](#_DxCrossRefBm1884563533) so provide, a noise certificate. Those certificates shall be issued upon application, when the applicant has demonstrated that the aircraft is in conformity with the design certified in accordance with [Article 11](#_DxCrossRefBm1884563519), and that the aircraft is in condition for safe and environmentally compatible operation. 2. The certificates referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article shall remain valid as long as the aircraft and its engines, propellers, parts and non-installed equipment are maintained in accordance with the implementing acts related to continuing airworthiness referred to in [Article 17](#_DxCrossRefBm1884563537) and are in condition for safe and environmentally compatible operation.
