##### Article 100 – Chairperson of the Management Board Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 1. The Management Board shall elect a Chairperson and a Deputy Chairperson from among its members with voting rights. The Deputy Chairperson shall *ex officio* replace the Chairperson in the event of his or her inability of attending to his or her duties. 2. The term of office of the Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson shall be four years and shall be extendable once for a further four years. If their membership of the Management Board ceases at any time during their term of office, their term of office shall automatically expire on that date.
