ATCO.MED.A.005 Scope Regulation (EU) 2023/893 This Part, set out in this Annex, establishes the requirements for: (a)       the issue, validity, revalidation and renewal of the medical certificate required for exercising the privileges of an air traffic controller licence or of a student air traffic controller licence with the exception of synthetic training device instructor; and [applicable until 3 August 2024 - Regulation (EU) 2015/340] (a)       the issue, validity, revalidation and renewal of the medical certificate required for exercising the privileges of an air traffic controller licence or of a student air traffic controller licence; and *[applicable from 4 August 2024 - Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/893]* (b)       the certification of AMEs to issue class 3 medical certificates.
