CAO.A.017 Means of compliance Regulation (EU) 2020/270 (a) Alternative means of compliance to the acceptable means of compliance adopted by the Agency may be used by an organisation to demonstrate compliance with Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 and its delegated and implementing acts. (b) When an organisation wishes to use alternative means of compliance, it shall, prior to using it, provide the competent authority with a full description of those alternative means of compliance. That description shall include an assessment demonstrating compliance of alternative means of compliance with Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 and its delegated and implementing acts.
